Location. Ideally positioned five miles from Arizona State University and one half mile from Arizona Mills Mall, Pointe South Mountain Resort rests on 220 glorious acres nestled at the base of South Mountain, a 17,000 acre nature preserve with 60 miles of trails. Guests arriving via Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport are eight miles from the resort.
Hotel Features. Pointe South Mountain Resort features the 38,000 square foot Phantom Horse Athletic Club and Spa that offers tennis, volleyball and croquet courts. The Spa contains 15 massage and beauty treatment rooms. Golfers may receive instruction via a 3D, computerized golf trainer before challenging the resort's 18 hole championship golf course. In addition, families can spend countless fun filled hours on the resort premises at the seasonal Oasis Water Adventure, one of the nation's largest water parks. This theme park features Slide Canyon Tower, Oasis Wave Pool, Zuni Active River, Wildcat Springs and Caliente Springs Hot Tub. The resort also provides a total of six outdoor pools. Children's programs such as Buckaroo Roundup and Cactus Kids Club keep youngsters entertained. Guests may choose among multiple on site dining options that include California/Asian influenced cuisine at Latitude 30 Degrees, southwestern style fare at Phantom Horse Grill, Aunt Chilada's Mexican restaurant and poolside service provided by Oasis Bar & Grill. Business professionals hold sessions within 117,000 square feet of meeting and function space that include the Exhibit Pavilion and South Mountain Ballroom.
